Pastor Godfrey became the Senior Pastor of North Walterboro Baptist Church December 14, 2014. Pastor Godfrey has been serving as a pastor since 2002.
Pastor Godfrey’s education includes a Bachelor of Arts degree from Armstrong Atlantic State University and a Master of Divinity degree from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary.
Pastor Godfrey has also served his country for the past 17 years in both the Army and the Air Force. He currently serves as a chaplain officer with the 165th Airlift Wing in Savannah, Ga, where he ministers to airmen and their families.
Pastor Godfrey’s interests include spending time with family, traveling, enjoying the outdoors, college football, and reading and watching movies based on actual events.
Pastor Godfrey’s passions include preaching and teaching the Bible, equipping the church to strive for excellence in ministry, and living out his faith so that others will follow.
Pastor Godfrey has been married to Koby since May 9, 1992. Koby has truly been his helper in ministry. They are blessed with two great children, Raegan and Jonah.
Pastor Godfrey’s life verse is Romans 8:28 “And we know all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”
||Dianna has been our Administrative Assistant for the past 14 years. In August of 2002, she assumed the dual role of Administrative Assistant for our school, North Walterboro Christian Academy.
Dianna completes our monthly newsletters, weekly bulletins, church membership roles and all of the other necessary things it takes to keep our offices running smoothly.
Dianna has been married to her husband, James, for the past 27 years and they have two sons. Alex 25 and Tyler 20.
Dianna is a 1986 graduate of Walterboro High School and became a Lifeway certified ministry assistant on March 14, 2007.
Dianna loves taking vacations to the mountains of Tennessee and she enjoys singing solos and in our church choir.
